Ungricht specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases, as well as cataract surgery and glaucoma treatment at his practice in Salt Lake City. Dr. Ungricht also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Utah.

Dr. Ungricht received his medical degree at the Yale University School of Medicine, and completed residency training in Ophthalmology at Vanderbilt University Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. Dedicated to furthering his knowledge and training, Dr. Ungricht also completed fellowship training in Glaucoma at New England Medical Center and in Vitreoretinal Disease and Surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.
